The Coleman Hughes Effect

Image
Journalist Coleman Hughes And His Viral Argument on "The View"     Writer and SubStack journalist Coleman Hughes was recently on the Joe Rogan podcast. Hughes was subject to a viral online video when he had an interview on "The View" and the hosts questioned and attacker some of his beliefs.  Hughes mentions, he did not expect to be ambushed the way he was on the show because he had never really paid much attention to the show.  Rogan then mentions that it is the show everyone loves to hate and they get many viral clips from people that hate them as opposed to like them. Rogan compares the show to a rabies infested hen house.  Hughes then mentions the audience seemed to be on his side and Rogan says they probably have a paid audience, not real fans.  No fact check was done on this point, they usually do live tracking fact checking on the show.  Rogan believes the hosts are a mix of dull minded personalities and intelligent people that are capture...

Joe Rogan Tidbit California Invaders

Image
Blues Star Gary Clark Jr. And Rogan Discuss Californians Coming to Texas Joe and Gary Clark Jr. have a conversation that is popular today about Californians moving to Texas ans bringing their culture that doesn't mesh on Texas. Gary Clark Jr. Is a world renowned blues guitarist and native of Texas.  This issue is popular among political talk right now, mostly from people fleeing "blue" states that are failing in taxes, cost of living and crime and voting the same policies in "red" states like Texas, Florida and Georgia.

The Elon Musk Effect Part Two

Image
Elon Musk On Ancient Egypt and Not Being Sure for Once     Joe Rogan brings up at first Elon making a colony on Mars and the origin myth being that they all came from Earth.     Rogan and Musk bring up how 5000 years is a lot of time to lose history. In 20,000 years on Mars, people could not really be sure about the history of humans and Earth, depending.      Musk says he considers civilization starting at the first writing and that was 5500 years ago by the ancient Sumerians.      Rogan believes some writings and glyphs were possibly 12000 years old or older depending on the archaeologists you speak to. He brings up the Ancient Apocalypses scenario about an advanced people that were wiped out.      Musk doesn't buy that theory as easy as Rogan. He sticks with the evidence at 5500 years old.     Rogan brings up other carvings and evidence that rainfall erosion in places without rain for 9000 years exist, w...

Joe Rogan Tidbit Boeing And Barnett Death

Image
Rogan and Lindsay Discuss the Boeing Whistle Blower Suicide John Barnett     Rogan and James Lindsay start by bringing up the fact that this Boeing whistler blower was found dead on the day of his testimony by way of "self inflicted gunshot wound."     Rogan mentions it could be a man embarrassed about what he has said about Boeing.      Or Boeing killed this guy.

The Sheldon Johnson Effect

Image
*Murderer Sheldon Johnson Lies his Way onto Joe Rogan     Joe Rogan recently had a podcast guest that was a "reformed" prisoner and advocate for early release and education of prisoners.       While he did make some points on the importance of reform and education.......     He left out large parts of why he ended up in prison (A ruthless robbery and beating of a man and a woman.) Many who watched the podcast felt as if he was sketchy and not a very good example of the programs they were advocating for.     Less than a month later appearing on the show, Johnson was arrested and charged with murder. He "allegedly" killed a man, cut him into pieces and stored him in a freezer.      Johnson claims innocence.     Sheldon Johnson was originally given 50 years for his crime and was released after 25 years. It can be hard to argue that the original 50 year sentence wasn't appropriate for this type of offender....

The Shane Gillis Effect

Image
Comedian and Historian Shane Gillis On WWI and Francisco Goya Paintings     Shane Gillis, a well known comedian and lesser known historian, starts by saying that the cause and start of WWI was the "ultimate dumbest one ever."     He talks about Duke Ferdinand being killed outside of a restaurant in his car and Germany decided to help Austria in a war in which all the major powers of the world also decided to join in.     Ferdinand went to Serbia in a presumed flaunting gesture among bad diplomacy when he shouldn't have, although in his way he went to help with relations and to show a hand to Serbia.      The kid who killed Arch Duke was 19 years old and he started World War 1.      Joe interjects by saying, "Like when Nancy Pelosi went to Taiwan?"      They begin making comments about WWI being a crazy transition in war technology, as cavalry on horseback were charging against tanks and turret guns. Rogan s...
