 Brett Weinstein and the Migrant Crisis

Brett Weinstein is an author, podcaster, political commentator and former Professor of Evergreen University, leading him into political rhetoric after a controversy at the school. His political background is left, but now center leaning, considered right leaning by those on the left. 

    In this clip, Joe comes in hot with a claim that due to the illegal immigration issue and funds going to illegal immigrants instead of them, the left has lost a lot of the black community support. He also mentions how other liberals have said the only solution to the border is Donald Trump. 

    Weinstein is not a supporter of Trump and begins by saying Trump needs to build a team but he is a "one man show." He says though, that if Bobby Kennedy cannot be elected, something has to be done about the "cabal" that is currently running the White House. He says they proved they do not care about Americans during the Covid situation and that Trump is essentially the lesser of two evils, as that administration has got to go. He mentions that he is a lifelong Democrat but that his party needs to be pulled back and not in power right now.

    Brett Weinstein went down to check out the migration situation and went down as far as Panama. He talks about people being encouraged to leave South America for Central (and North) America not for asylum but simply being told it would be better for them. They think they are just going for better economic situations, not warfare etc. 

    Chinese immigrants are a large group of the migrants and they use money to make the trip when South Americans cannot. The Chinese migrations are far more streamline and secretive and is mostly young military age men. He then talks about how many countries from the Middle East are also migrating in through the Central American route through Ecuador who has no Visa requirement. 

    Rogan asks why the FEDS are letting it happen and resisting Texas trying to stop it. Weinstein then states that there may be two things happening. One is illegal immigration at a huge rate and the other being an invasion. He thinks the belief among many is that it is a ploy to create voters, as illegal immigrants can already vote in some local elections. Weinstein thinks that many of these migrants won't always vote blue, however,

    He is also wary of the possibility of offering these secretive migrants military service for citizenship. As many vaccine skeptics and right wing left the military, this could be very dangerous and toward further tyranny. The force would turn on the citizens easier if they aren't citizens. This has also been the reason many states have fallen. 

    They end with conversations on the military splitting and the country fighting against tyranny and having a chance because much of the military will take the side against the government. They mention this not being a novel idea to this conversation. 

    They believe tens of thousands of Chinese immigrants recently and over the years- millions have come into the US. In 2023, they looked up the numbers on Chinese illegal immigrants crossing the border and it was above 30,000. This ended the clip.
